This looks beautiful. Tiny Vipers has a heck of a voice, and lots to explore that I haven't heard yet.

What a fantastic idea for a mix series, I might give this one a shot myself!

@TheSynthesist: It's from the Matthew Ryan track. His new album, "Matthew Ryan vs. The Silver State", is one of my favourite finds of 2008.

Apologies, I had to take this down due to Web Sheriff issues... drop me a line if you want a copy!

Can't wait to hear the results when I'm home and can do such things! How ace are you, and this site, and all of us!

Sadly not, althought that would be amazing! It's from his solo album Other People's Lives.

Fantastic selection. Tempted to try my own, while I'm still 25!

The title pulled me in here. Oh, my beloved Sleater-Kinney. How I miss them.

I refuse to believe there's such a thing as a "guilty pleasure". The Mountain Goats do a great live cover of Ace of Base's "The Sign", complete with "don't pretend you're too cool to like this song" commentary. I'd dance to this, anyday - great, fun mix!

Kenickie!!! Bless them. "In Your Car" is an amazing song.

I'm a huge fan of that Twilight Singers song.

Looks amazing - downloading now. The title drew me in, the story is intriguing and the song choices look perfect.

I've never thought of making a book mix, what an interesting idea! Love Matthew Ryan - I've only known of his existence for about a month!

@gapechouinard: Sorry :p I'm on as much of a Kozelek kick myself at the moment - not just an amazing songwriter, but an amazing interpreter of other people's songs. Check out "What's Next To The Moon", his "solo" album of the most unlikely AC/DC covers you will ever hear. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks for the recommendation - and the comment!

I like you. I like this mix, and I think the title is incredibly appropriate given the challenge. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of this site!

Aidan Moffat speaks more truth than any man I'll ever know. Or at least, I believe him. It might be the familar accent. You should listen to his forthcoming solo album.

It's a top fove Dylan song for me too :) Thanks, everyone - hope you enjoy.

Abigail - so did I, apart from that one song! ;)

@senatorhung: I worked in retail for five Christmasses, so I know exactly what you mean. That's why I wanted to post something different - a few of the songs don't even mention Christmas! I hope you like it anyway.

Part 2 of a mix CD project for my boss. How I get myself into these situations, I'll never know...
