Nice mix. I'm diggin' on 1, 7, 16, and 18.

I think I'm appreciating this because it contains a ton of tacky (in a good way) classics, that I don't know if I'd normally admit to liking. Examples are 17, 19. And 6 is just classy. Random is right!

This mix looks great. I'm glad that your dad loved it. I don't see why he wouldn't, as there are countless good tracks here.

Great concept and great tracks.

Definitely a fan of tracks 3, 12, 21, and 24. Looks good. I hope he likes it!

Tracks 5, 12, and 15 do it for me. Nice picks. :)

Love tracks 6, 10 & 14. :)

Particularly entertaining, since I went out drinking for a friend's 21st last night. A suggested addition might be The Little Willies - I Gotta Get Drunk.

This mix is fantastic. Well done. Esp. fond of Iron & Wine, The Shins, Cat Power, & The Eels.

I know I'm commenting on an old mix, but I had to let you know that it looks great. I'm a fan of 5, 8, 10, and 13, esp. I really need to check out the rest of these artists, too.

Seems like 2006 was a good year for music. These are all stand-out tracks.

Nice mix. I'm a big fan of track 15.

This is a beautiful idea for a mix. Good work!

You've got a lot of amazing, haunting voices on here. Magnetic Fields, Martin Sexton, Rufus Wainwright, Jeff Buckley, Ella Fitzgerald. Good work! I particularly want to hear the Madeleine Peyroux version of "Between the Bars" ...

It was Adam Pascal. :) After I uploaded the mix, though, I realized that he didn't quite go with the vibe, so I switched him out for Interpol's "NYC". For anybody who wanted to know: the original Track 4 was Adam Pascal's "New York State of Mind" (Billy Joel cover).

This seems like a great mix. I might have to get my hands on these songs.

Mmm ... I love your Josh Rouse track. 'Delicate' feels a bit dark for this, 'Such Great Heights' is a good segway from it.

Nice! I don't know if it works with the sound you created, but another 'good' song that comes to mind is "Banana Pancakes" by Jack Johnson.

Wow ... sounds like it's useful. I would add anything by Gunther & the Sunshine Girls. With songs like "Touch Me" and "Pleasureman" ... yeah.

Wow ... I was thinking of doing a mix like this as I walked back from class today. :P Thanks for the comment ... Yay for Nick Drake and The Beach Boys.

A gifted mix from my friend Jordan. I have a few of these songs, but I think that this mix lets me listen to them with all new ears. :)

Another cover mix. I'm running out of covers! A lot more recent material, but I like it. Tell me what you think.

Consider this a late Valentine's mix, as well as a list of some of my favorite covers right now. I know, there aren't any Beatles covers, but I do think some extraordinary songwriters such as Dylan …
