Nice mix, I used to feel the same way about groups not having any roots, but there is a whole undercurrent of great country & rock groups which harken back to the beginnings. I love everything here with the exception of JB. Great mix.

Love the classics, old & new, especially Deano, Frank, Patti Page, Harrison and I have always had a soft spot for Thomas Dolby.

Huh, I never thought of Evan Dando as roots music, but I never paid that much attention. I know I love most of this and I'm sure I'd love the rest.

That Stones song was always our favorite after-bars song for the Wad and I to taunt the pizza hippies...

Blue Cheer into Spacemen 3 is an interesting and fun choice, to say the least.

You ought to make another version 100% faithful to the book, WITH the Debbie Reynolds and related ilk! At least you didn't put any Three Dog Night, that really disappointed me in Gilliam.

That looks just like one of my Garden collections! Love it, doowad
