Comment:
This is a bit of blues from the mid to lower eastside, these Blues Men & Woman were born in this region. This is where thier style was developed but,I'm sure the way music goes, grows thur listening, swapping, learning and borrowing technics,it carried them far beyond the Piedmont Blues Style.I don't like labling the blues.I love this style best outta all the wonderful art of the blues listening experiences.Happy go Lucky! This mix needs some Floyd Council!
Feedback:
Oh what an ace! I'm happy that the "Box" captures both Roanoke and Richmond (Virginia). I was lucky enough to see and hear Elizabeth Cotton (author of Freight Train). Was blown away when she picked up the guitar 'upside down' and finger piced her way home... Great Mix sir, my hat's off to you.
Looks good. I just submitted a blues mix also.
I thought those were red states.
Great to see one of my personal fav artists - Barbecue Bob on a mix, infact the whole lot looks great to me.
This is the best of the roots, & the roots of the best. Blind Willie McTell, the purest guitar & voice ever, I wouldn't label it either but it sure is good.
Likin' the blues gettin' some dues around here! Love to hear it...
