Lots of wonderful songs on here. If my download is at the speed of sound, I'll be listening soon.

Every time I see (or hear) "Maybe I'm Amazed" my brain automatically flips to A.J. Croce. His version surpasses McCartney, without a doubt. Check it out here for free.

finally gave this a spin, real nice. things I normally consider kinda' square (Three Dog Night, Eagles, Bread) sound real round when mixed in with the others here. lots of favorites (that Beatles song, Mahalia Jackson, John Lennon, Nina Simone, Nick Drake)... but the standouts for me were the Chris Bell track and that zany-but-wonderful Grace Jones cover of "Ring of Fire." well done!

I think Alex sums it up well, some very surprising picks, but I'm sure the whole picture is something I need to hear.
