Comment:
I love bizarre covers, and few are more bizarre than Pat Boone's swing covers of heavy metal classics. I can't say enough good things about Me First and the Gimme Gimmes either...there are tons of hilarious ska and punk covers floating around the 'Net, but the ones I really enjoy are those where the band completely transforms the song - like the Cardigans covering Sabbath on "Iron Man." Who knew that song would sound so good in an acid-jazzy style?

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes is without a doubt the best cover band going

I would give my left foot to hear Ozzy and Dweezil singing together.

Fans of weird covers need to check out the Langley Schools Music Project album INNOCENCE & DESPAIR as well as both Moog Cookbook albums.

Yeah, the Moog Cookbook stuff is beautifully twisted. I hear they put on a pretty entertaining live show too...
