Artist Song Buy

As of 2007 the original Dodgy line-up of Nigel Clark (vocals, bass), Andy Miller (guitar), and Mathew Priest (drums) is reunited and on the road, so we figured you'd appreciate this look back at their finest moments. And how fine they were. Even though the trio often sold themselves as the court jesters of Britpop, their anthems — "Good Enough" and "Staying Out for the Summer" — are beautifully crafted pop classics, bursting with feel-good energy, and placing the outfit somewhere between the Monkees and the Stone Roses. Rare early tracks from a 1991 Mark Goodier radio session ("Lovebirds" and "Easy Way") reveal an impressive knowledge of Brit rock traditions from the off.
