Comment:
for mr. great scott in the pfm mix trade 5. a collection of fine blues songs. i was trying to get a more diverse group of people on this one-so there are quite a few of the early female blues singers blancing out the males. my favourite song-by one of my favourite people-i don't love nobody by ms. elizabeth cotten- opens the mix and really sets the mood and serves as a thesis to the songs. they aren't telling a story-per say-but in a away they are telling everyone's story-every song on here-in some way or another-reflects not only the american search for identity and more than that abstract idea-the more personal serarch for love and happiness in the world. title comes from James Baldwin's Go Tell it on the Mountain.

This needs more comments. So quickly Mix Of The Week-ers fade from the public memory...
