Heard all together, this 3 CD set of my own devising represents what I would consider to be a satisfactory aural explanation as to the origin and evolution of all things funky. Get down.

Funk-a-licious! I know from your "Big Funk Turnover" series, (which I am currently enjoying muchly!), you ARE da' man o' FUNK! I can't argue with your selections...musta' been tough to leave out "Nutbush City Limits"..!

it's a wonderful selection all by itself, but you really made my day by closing with cameo's +word up!½ and prince's +kiss½ . my two favorite songs. i think i love ya.

good selection dissapointed there was no representation of of the jazzfunk and rare groove scene
