Comment:

I went to the Grand Rapids Art Museum to see Visualizing the Blues:Images of the American South, 1862-1999. One of the exhibitions was by Jon McDonald: The Blues. I have met Jon a couple of times over the last 30+ years but I knew his father Charlie better. Jon's show brought back fond memories of Charlie joking around and also bringing by catfish and cornbread. As soon as I got home I dug into my blues collection and put this tribute together. Peace be with you both.
