Comment:
This mix from 2002, made entirely for my own amusement, ended up as a holiday bonus disc for the December 2004 meeting of the New York CDMOM club. It's sort of a cheat, since eight of the tunes come from the Me, Myself & Irene soundtrack. [album art full size]
Feedback:
Don't know much Steely Dan, and I certainly don't know these covers, but looks like a grand undertaking (sort of, as your note indicates, you cheated a bit). And I like the cover. I'm also curious about what the CDMOM club is. So, in short, might you be interested in a trade?
Awesome. Hope we can trade as I like Steely Dan.
Wow, being an almost lifelong fan, I certainly wouldn't mind giving this one a spin . . .
I'd definitely be interested in trades...
CDMOM stands for CD Mix of the Month. We're a face-to-face group in NYC who trade mixes, and we're an offshoot of the online CDMOM club that Josh Benton used to run from Texas. A little history on Josh's club is at crabwalk.com/cdmom
this would be an excellent tribute!
