Elephant Soul is a collection of (mostly) rare Soul and Psych gems from the late 60s. The songs mainly were culled from my collection of period comps (excluding contemporary artists like The Bees and Skinny), and my inspiration for this mix was mainly the outstanding discs from fine folks like David Holmes, Andy Votel, and Soul Jazz Records. The vintage feel and tasty gooves makes for what I feel is a amazing summertime soundtrack, and I tried to mix the ulta rare tracks with a few better known ones to give it a familiar feel and sound, and I hope everyone enjoys listening to this mix as much as I enjoyed making it
