"Brothers on the Slide" is the greatest song in the entire solar system (excluding Pluto). The rest of this mix is equally heavenly and seductive.....

I'll have that audio up later today... check back this afternoon. I was too lazy to do a "proper" mix (i.e. next song starting while the last one fades) this time around, but I will have these separated, numbered, and tagged correctly. Please check back this afternoon. And thanks for the feedback!

In my opinion, a proper mix is NOT one where songs blend together and the next songs starts while the last one fades out. Give me a break. Mixes aren't radio stations, nor are they a DJ session at a club. Please don't blend. PLEASE!

Cow Macy: your opinions on mixes/compilations are very much in tune with my own! Thanks for driving that point home; now I don't feel like a horse's ass for spending the time to blend. I'm a Puritan, what can I say.

"Please don't blend. PLEASE!", begs Cow Macy. Huh?"a proper mix is NOT one where songs blend together and the next songs starts while the last one fades out". Huh? Huh?It's fine that you have this opinion, Cow Macy. No problem at all. I don't think you, nor I, have the definitive say over what constitutes a "proper" mix. What about the "audio tape" only brigade and the "no downloads please, we're collectors" squad. Then there's the iPod folks and the Winamp playlist corps. Oh, and did I forget the "online radio station" wallahs. You see, it's no good grasping at the puritanical straw - the last one has already been plucked.A mix is what it is. A collection of music "painstakingly" crafted together - "blended" or otherwise. It's what the mixer wants it to be. The "feedback" is up to the viewer/listener. I have no problem with segued or deliberately demarked arrangements. To each his own, eh. I believe it was the legendary Dom1 himself who stated a "NO RULES" policy in regard to creating a mix. I concur. I am able to enjoy a mix that captures my interest in any form (except reel to reel - my old Revox has died). I favour CD's and the demon "blending", but all are welcome as far as I'm concerned.Potato, potarto - let's call the whole thing off. Whoops, almost forgot to comment on Mr. Attention's mix. I like, I like it, I like it, I la, la, like it. You mix `em any way you prefer, and I'll judge for myself. Thanks for listening - ha ha.

I like the "NO RULES" policy... makes sense to me. I usually don't blend due to my mixtape roots, but honestly, it's mostly because I'm lazy! Thanks for the feedback guys and I hope you enjoy the mix.

Really enjoying this. Any mix that includes Little Stevie, Cannonball and the Beasties is all right by me. Incidentally, I prefer individual tracks, but I'm incredibly grateful to those who share with us in any format - it's such a wonderful way to expand my musical taste (and figure out how to spend every penny of my disposable income, sigh)

I downloaded this last week. I confess I only got round to listening yesterday evening. Better late than never I reckon, It's awesome. Loved the Hugh Masekela, Visioneers, Shugie.. Ah, what the hell, just about everything. Don't be surprised if you see one of these tracks on a future mix of mine...
