So here's my part II of 2006's best music... I guess it's a good thing if I can make a 40 song best of out of the offerings of a year that didn't exactly blow me away. However, there are a couple on here that had I heard them in time, would most likely have made it into my top ten - particularly Annuals and Grizzly Bear. But I think I managed to get most of the good stuff on either part I or I this year...

well I thought 2006 was a great year . . . . and I have a very different list to you . . . (what do I know ?) . . . from this, the Damien Jurado pick is the one to tip me over the edge (short strokes !)

A great 2cd series ( got volume 1 through the post yesterday, thankyou, yours has been mailed ). Loads of faves on here, including the opening 5, Junior Boys, Jurado, Peter & The Wolf. Well, pretty much everything. Nice work..
Just got round to having a look at this one now - looks great! There were a lot of "best of 2006" mixes, but this one taps in more than most to what I was listening to (although it wasn't my best year, admittedly, for keeping up with music!) Especially like the Neko Case inclusion, and the MBD. Nice.
