Comment:

In the spirit of exploring my genesis as a maker of mixtapes, I'm continuing my posting of early mixes with the first (according to my memory) purely hip-hop mix I ever made, sloppily labeled "BOMBS" and most likely constructed at my friend Fred's house during the summer break between my freshman and sophomore years in high school. In keeping with the title, this mixtape was a bomb. The tracks do not mesh at all, and the sequencing appears to follow little more structure than the order in which I downloaded these songs from Kazaa. But, I suppose you have to crawl before you can walk. I cherished this mix as I had a terribly slow internet connection and no cd burner of my own, and I seem to recall effectively wearing it out and having to make a new copy. Ah, well. It is what it is.
