Comment:
As it's St Patrick's day, an all- Irish line-up. I've tried to avoid Riverdance-type fiddle-a-diddle clichTs (so, sadly, no Chieftains whom I revere) and most of the obvious big names (so, gladly, no U2 whom I despise).
I was going to call it Art Of The Micks but luckily, political correctness got the better of me.

With you on the U2 despising. Personally though I love snakes so St.Patrick venemous attitude angers me.
Tracks I love: Outcasts, MBV, Fatima Mansions, Radiators From Space, Orange Machine, SLF, Microdisney, Undertones and I'll have to see if I've got that Colenso Parade track. Good stuff.

Wonderful...live the MBV, Undertones, and Them. And yeah, I'll second (third?) the sentiments on U2.

Really nice looking mix. I do, however, like U2....

throw me into the pile of u2-haters (my most-despised band in the history of pop) - love the them, stiff little fingers, undertones & MBV tracks especially

Happy St Patricks day to you. I remember Barry doing an Irish Mix and being tempted to call it Art Of The Micks! Highlights for me here - 2,7,15,20-22 and the closing two..

Love this mix! I can only tolerate the pre-Joshua Tree U2 myself. That TPE song has been running through my head a lot lately too.

We had a new colt born on St. Patrick's Day and naturally gave it a barn name of Pat. So I'm still in the mood for some Irish music.

Missed this on St. Patty's day. Ah well, this is good for any day.
