Comment:
He might not have been as prolific as, say, Dylan, Newman or Mitchell, but when it comes to quality of output, Tim Hardin is up there with the very best writers of the 60s. Loads of songs get covered, but only a select handful become standards. At least half a dozen of his tunes are standards lending themselves to pop, psyche, prog, easy, country, Motown, reggae and jazz interpretations.
An under-appreciated but massive talent.

Wow, this looks wonderful. I've always found it puzzling that so many artists choose "Reason to Believe" and "If I Were A Carpenter" over many of his other (in my opinion) much better songs.

Hardin was never under-appreciated by me. His music resonates still today.

Great Mix. I have an Introduction to Tim Hardin CD so I'm aware of some of his songs, but it'll be great to hear some new takes on them. Cheers..

Jaundiced Germanic mellow drama courtesy of Nico... that's the one for me.

Cool idea. I was actually considering a straight-ahead single-artist mix of Hardin one of these days, but this seems like a more worthwhile project.
