I only know her by name but I'll bet this mix will be a wonderful introduction to her music...
missed this one when it appeared back in May, so I'm glad SOMEBODY brought it to my attention. [can you guess who?] what a divine collection; favorites are "El Bracero Fracasado," "El Feo," "Aguya de Rosas," "La Cama de Piedra" and I thought "Tirineni Tsïtsik'" was especially beautiful too. Ms. Downs will be performing in Seattle in September, and now I'm convinced I must be there!
