This mix was made for my two guy friends thomas and thomas. They specifically requested that the mix have none of "those beats" on them, i assumed that meant heavy drums and electric guitar. gah. so this is my attempt to give them what they want, even if its not what i want to give them.
Feedback:
I don't know quite what to think when on one side you have the nice trio of Ray Lamontagne-The Beatles-Kings of Convenience and on the other follow up the lovely miss Spektor with James Blunt. But it does looks good, all in all. ANd that Tristan Prettyman guy keeps popping up around here, maybe I should check him out?
yeah, I'm not a fan of james blunt. but he was specifically requested. i know i sound like a tool! but, i really wanted to use the opportunity to introduce some mellow stuff that i like (KofCon. etc.).
Tristan prettyman is a girl, she's really great. nothing super unique but she has a beautiful voice and catchy songs...
The Chipmunks do a nice version of a Blunt song ;-)Seriously, though, I love Nickl Creek and of course the Beatles, so you don't have to do much else to make a nice mix with those two.
