Yes, 'tis the season, the season for Faux News and its band of raving morons to once again bring out their ludicrous "War On Christmas" schtick. Yet, last time I checked, most people are still managing to find a way to celebrate Christmas pretty much the way they always have. But, dammit, when stores don't expressly proclaim "Christmas" over each and every single ad they put out, it horrifyingly denies us of our God-given right to make sure the holiday season is consumerized to the full extent of the law!
Anyway, no theme to the mix, just a bunch of sel_ctions from some of my favorite albums of the past year (though not the best tracks, which I'm accumulating for my annual best of the year mix), interspersed with a random assortment of tunes from the ages that I just happened to feel like throwing together. All segued together (making this one inappropriate for mp3 download, alas), for a non-stop spin of holiday fun.

Looks like a great mix and I must agree with your assessment of the celbration of "Christmas."

God, that's just a fantastic title! I'm totally in stitches. And I love your choice of cover image as well. (If memory serves, that's from some holiday special that for the life of me I can't remember the name of. Correct me if I'm wrong...)

I like that R.E.M. song Mr. Rich_rds a lot. (In fact I love the whole Accelerate album - their best in quite some time. They've definitely been putting the right ingredients in their morning coffee for that one!)

Looks very joyous, my frie-nd. Haven't heard it yet, but what I know I like: Free Design, Manning, Fastbacks, TFC, Conchords, YLT, Stars, etc. Have you heard the Most Serene remix of "Ageless Beauty"? About the only instrumentation is an acoustic bluesy guitar and piano and those gorgeous Lush-like vocals. Great claymation version of Johnny Lydon on the cover.
