Comment:

This mix is about a boy who dumped me on my birthday. It is a transitional mix, so we can go one day from lovers to friends. It is like a teddy bear, when a child realized that it is not an extension, product, or function of its mother, that they are each separate entities bound in their own skin. This mix is the liminal space between two paintings in a museum, the sorbet served between courses in a gourmet restaurant. The window between 3AM and 5AM that the deli beneath his building closes for the night. He would always say, "Who is supposed to care for me then, when everyone else is gone, and even my deli downstairs is closed?" Well, this is that moment, just before sun rises. Cookies are done, cakes are done, but people are finished.

The question is, should I give him the mix, or not?!

I think it's a fantastic mix and I love, love, love the variety. Personally, I wouldn't give it to him, but that's just me. I tend to burn bridges with most of my ex's anyway.

If you really want to continue talking to him and being friends, giving this mix to him is a step in the right direction. It shows thoughtfulness and caring and makes you look good. I would give it to him, but honstly just give it some thought and figure out what you want to do. good luck. I just went through a break up myself, so hang in there. I like some of the songs on here.
