Comment:

The tradition since 2006 continues.

110 minutes long. My sixth Halloween album in the Definitive line.

This time while the cover shows Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers and there is a song on here about Samhain, that's as far as the comparisons go. This is a straight up album dedicated to Vampires, their movies and their powerful lusts and passions.

The first side is vampires (mainly Dracula) in the late 19th century. Lots of classic stuff abounds, with Transylvania, Dracula's Castle, the Realising of the Bats and poor Renfield. Two mentions are made about the creatures of the night, the first in Burn the Flames and the second in Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me from TRHPS.

The second side is Dracula and other vampires in more modern times (1970s - now). I can just picture Dracula (after Dracula PT. 1 by Jimmy Castor) totally getting down to Transylvania Boogie by Frank Zappa.

The album somewhat opens with Intro by a group called Christopher Lee. It's 100% moody synth replete with Chris Lee voice clips. The album closes with The Young Lovers which is from the Christopher Lee movie Taste the Blood of Dracula.

As of this writing Bela Lugosi is still my favoirte Dracula, and Christopher Lee is STILL alive at 89 years old! God bless both men.

This album is dedicated to (vamp)Erin Smith. My loving girlfriend.
