Comment:
i've been doing this recently, where, after starting a book and getting a feel for it, i'll make a mix to listen to while i read it. this mix is made for john mcnally's "troublemakers" (a collection of short stories). the summary/blurb on the back of the book reads:
"Troublemakers is an often hilarious, sometimes frightening, occasionally off-the-wall collection of stories about men living on the edge. From the streets of Chicago's south-west side to the rural roads of Nebraska to the small towns of southern Illinois, McNally's troublemakers lead readers to a place no less thrilling dangerous than the human heart itself."
so with that said, you can kind of get a sense of what i was going for with this mix.
