This 2-cd set was a Christmas gift from me to my thirteen-year-old brother; I remembered at 13 I was taking down my New Kids posters and getting into Led Zeppelin, so I figure it's a key time in one's musical education, and kept most of the CD with pretty accessible stuff, sneaking in the Einsturzende Neubauten and Tom Waits when nobody's looking. And he really digs the CDs, too. You may notice a couple of hockey songs and a bit extra Canadian content - the kid's a hockey nut. Enjoy!
