Comment:

A tape to bring to a friend as I head back home for the Christmas holidays. This is the same friend I make almost all my tapes for, as she's as big a music nut as I am and is thrilled whenever I surprise her with a tape of new (or already beloved) music. Now that she's back from Korea (see last tape), she's back in her hometown and has broken up with her boyfriend of three years. This wasn't meant to be a "post-breakup" tape by any means, but listening to it now, I realize it kind of worked out that way, as loneliness, lost love and moving on from hardship is a recurring theme in several songs. Hope she likes it anyway.
