Comment:

Some nuggets from the vault to satisfy the likes of certain music geek types. Jon Hendricks is backed by The Emergency Crew who would soon change thier name to the Grateful Dead. The Beachnuts is pre-Velvets Lou Reed. The Andy Partridge (of XTC) cut is from his songs for "James And The Giant Peach", a change in production team resulted in him no longer providing the music.

Nice work Tom. It's a shame Andy Partridge lost out to Randy Newman for the soundtrack to James & the Giant Peach. I have those demos too and they're pretty wonderful.

It's interesting to note that both Alex Chilton and Mule Cox were from Memphis and played guitar in much the same way! How does it take so long for someone like that to jump on a chance and make it stick?

Timmy, if you wish to hear this mix an email other than timmy@timmytimtim.c is to be needed, thus your posting, while it is filled with praise, it is quite worthless.
