thanks to the Telecommunications Act of 1996 you won't see too many of these artists or songs on the radio...let alone stations with the right format to play them!

Actually - and maybe I'm just lucky - but there is a station here that plays a large chunk of these songs. The weirdest transition they've ever done was Tenacious D's "Wonderboy" to Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" Nice mix.

Amen! Radio these days is a wasteland of redundancy. You've followed through on an idea that's been brewing in my mind for about a month or so now. Although my mix is shaping up to be a little bit more "grungy". It needs some fleshing out, but I'm sure I'll post it eventually. Great choices on the Soul Coughing tunes, btw.
