Comment:
Very simple theme: songs about places. It follows a mix I made long ago with American place names in the titles, which was fairly successful - I'll post that one as soon as I find it. This 'global' mix will be followed soon by a new road trip mix with songs featuring names of places I could conceivably drive to (while avoiding repeating songs from the first mix), thereby forming a two volume set of travelling songs. I plan to have both ready to enter rotation in the car when my squeeze and I head to the east coast in July.
Feedback:
a COOL mix indeed. very nice, "out-of-the-box" selections.
The songs make this a winner, with or without the theme.
The Von Bondies, The Clash, "Fire In Cairo", the Pixies AND Old 97s - this is why you are my best friend.
P.S. I can't believe you put Beck on there, you sell-out. (Ha ha. That was a joke. Don't all you Beck fans send hate mail, now.)
