Comment:

Some interesting footnotes: The Number 7 Theme is an advertising 7" from #7 cigarettes(Canadian brand), I think the Crystal Bernard in question is the actress who was in "Wings" this song is from a creepy Jerry Falwell record. The Brothers in Law are a bunch of Cops from Canada who sing politically motivated folk songs ( 50's ) , What can I say about Little Marcy... this is the scariest thing I've ever heard , a woman(looks like Jakie O)and a puppet ... AND THE PUPPET SINGS... RELIGOUS SONGS... this woman is up to no good. There will be more volumes of this to come. Enjoy

Anyone who puts Ron Haydock and the genius of Little Marcy is worthy of praise to me. Some fine "irratainment" there.

Excellent. Have you seen the Incredibly Strange Music CDs and books that Re:Search put out? I was thinking about Little Marcy today as a matter of fact!

Cor, awesome. Is Phil Harris the same Phil Harris who did the voice of Baloo in 'The Jungle Book'? Cause if you've got records by him, that's, like, nuts.

I'm not sure about Phil Harris , the liner notes don't indicate anything but he's got a really distinctive voice, I could swear I've heard it in some cartoon or something. I do know that The Love Generation is the band that did all the cool songs from the chase scenes in the original Scooby Doo cartoons. Anybody out there got a mix of 60's 70's bubblegum pop ? I'd love to get some

Distinctive voice. Sort of fruity and mellifluous, right? I bet it's the Jungle Book guy, y'know, he sings 'Bare Necessities' which for obvious reasons is a favourite of mine. Meanwhile, I hear the Scooby Doo film blows. Freddie Prinze Jr needs a good cock-punching, is what.

I bet it's the same guy then. The album probably came out before the movie, It's called "Thats what I like About The South" sort of a theme album about southern things. It's got a picture of a goofy lookin' guy(probably Phil Harris)with a multicoloured terry cloth shirt and smarmy grin holding a mint julep.Found it at a garage sale 50cents ,thats less than 25p

Yeah, that sounds about right. Ha, brilliant. Sounds like the sort of thing you can get at Oxfam and that here. Except some of them are getting wise and pricing things properly nowadays- the culture of picking up bargains at charity shops is too well known! You know, I wasn't going to bother asking cause I bet you've got better things to do than pack up tapes, but I wouldn't mind a copy of this.

I'd love to trade , email me your address and I'll send you one , I made a couple extra because alot of people seem interestd, I'm going to look at your mixes now. By the way , I was wrong about the Love Generation , it was the Partridge Family that they did the singing for , not the Scooby Doo show
