well this is the story...for this entire week i will be pulling nine hour days to help with my old high school in singapore's grade 11....so i started on monday, and by the end of monday i had pretty much decided that if i didn't have msuic i wouldn't make it through the week. so i made this mix for myself...it looks really incoherent, but it flows really well together, and the mixing and mashing of tunes is my survival guide...argh help me. title is from the superchunk track 'act surprised' i think it's particularly fitting, because my old high school is an international school, and everyone's accents there, no matter where they are from, eventually evolves to this generic 'international school accent'....
