Comment:

I made this mix to remember a remarkable man and father of one of my good friends. William McCool passed away today doing something he truly loved; he was the pilot of the ill-fated Columbia shuttle. I feel blessed to have so many memories of fond times spent with him and his family.

Willie and all the other crew members will be sorely missed.

Lani, Sean, Chris, and Cameron - My thoughts are with you.

hey, you just instantaneously earned my respect. I expected this to have some Weezer songs on it because on weezer.com, Karl said McCool took the Blue Album with him and was going to get a picture of it floating around with earth in the background that they could put on the webpage. Even so, this is a great and, from what it seems, well-deserved mix. RIP William McCool

thanks dude. I'll have my tribute up sometime today most likely. He did fly Weezer Blue.

He also flew with him a copy of O.K. Computer by Radiohead, a Pink Floyd Album, and a Guster Album "Lost and Gone Forever".

Many other things. But I can't begin all of it now.

yes, great mix. sound of silence would make me feel like crying, man. i live in nacogdoches, tx so this does affect me quite a bit, as there's debris around here. most of it crashed down here.
