Comment:
December 1998. I discovered Sarah records just as they were closing up shop and calling it a day. I managed to find a CD shop that still had stock on most of the compilation CDs. While the label helped define the idea of twee indiepop, I found that some of the compilations were a bit disjointed in that they mixed the sweet melodic stuff with a bunch of punkier tunes, and not always in a good way. I wanted to be able to enjoy all my favorites, so I sifted through them and made this CD.

Great mix. Great idea. We should definitely trade in a couple of months (when my burner gets fixed and when I catch up with some pending trades).

Hmmm. I'm pretty curious about this - let me know if you'd like to trade.

Wow! Both of these Sarah compilations look wonderful! Sorry I missed them the first time they were posted. I would love to trade for them if you're up to it. Perhaps you might find something you fancy in my archives.
