its not all 90's though

Oue Lady Peace - Life was in 2001 with their album Spiritual Machines. as was drops of jupiter by Train

pretty good, i'd say, though i can't believe you'd even mention 1990s alternative without the smashing pumpkins!

There were several that I was unsure of but liked enough to add. As for the Smashing Pumpkins, they didn't even enter my mind! I was sort of in a frenzy trying to think of bands and asking people for suggestions, and they were never even mentioned. What a pity..
