I originally made this for my girlfriend, thinking she might benefit from some knowledge of the amazing work of Ben Gibbard and his friends. Now I see that The Postal Service is getting air time on MTV. Is the tide of popular music finally shifting from the idiot-rock of Brittany Spears and the like to artists who care about the music they make? Only time will tell. But if/when the revolution comes, Ben and his cohorts will be leading the charge.
