Comment:

This includes portions of a previous mix, "What Do You Mean 'Boyfriend?'" Side 1 covers the aforementioned mix. I changed a few songs but the heart of the story is there. Side 1, Track 7 (1:7) is fairly straightforward. There I was, a bit confused by the whole thing. I had been expecting a fastball and got a curveball. (1:8) I had considered ignoring the new bit of information. Afterall, should I let it stop me? (1:9) After a bit of deliberation, I figured that it would bother me more to continue. I'm not the most moral of people, but I knew it would leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. So, I let it be. I didn't call though I still had the number.
Summer passed and the events of the previous semester had been pushed into the backroom of my mind. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
(2:2) There I was, waiting for my class to begin. I lay my head down, as I sketched a few cartoonish characters in my notebook. I didn't notice anyone walk into the classroom, until the teacher walked in, welcoming us. Fast forward to the end of the class and I gather my things. I head for the door and pause. (2:2)
Things go smoothly. She's quite lovely (2:3) but I'm keeping my distance. I stand my ground, but slowly, ever so slowly... (2:4)
How cruel she can be (2:5)! I slowly begin to move away because I begin to think (2:6)
Could this be happening as some sort of cosmic retribution (2:7)?
What path do I take (2:8)?
I don't know. I just don't know. The final track(2:9) is just a lovely song and will probably lead me to buy more albums by The Cure. "Crossroads" by Cream was a possibility to close out the album.

This is excellent work. I am an almost purely intuitive mix maker, myself. I try narratives, but it comes only when I don't try, if you take my meaning. God, this rocks.
