My annual Holiday comp, edition of 50 in full-packaging.
(this was one of 2 different Xmas titles I churned-out in the '01 season)
80 minutes: 40 tracks (10 of which are brief audio clips).

Another festive frolic through the familiar and the not with random surprises and custom edits. Many usual suspect holiday songs are absent since this mix is solely Santa-related songs. There is heavy usage of Simpson's clips, but not the most obvious ones (they were used up on other Xmas comps years before this one!). Just when you think it's all over, a brief respite of silence peels back to the melancholic sounds of Flander's roof-mounted, mechanized-Santa 'ho-ho-hos' mixing with the howling night wind. This looped over and over for 2 minutes!

The majority of this release was conceived during the track foraging for my double-disc holiday release of the prior year, therefore editing was largely cosmetic and enjoyable. As the years go by, inevitably one encounters scads of songs that should've been included or edged out others -but c'est la vie!
