Citius, Altius, Forteus (or Swifter Higher Stronger) is the motto of the Olympic Games. The games of the XXVIII Olympiad will open in Athens next week, here is my soundtrack. I cheated a bit by including Loudon Wainwright III's "Tonias Twirls" which is, strictly speaking, about a winter olympic sport. Which other olympics related songs could I have included? Comments and suggestions welcome.

Stylin, man. How about "Betty's Takin' Judo" by Jeff carson? Or "Let's Wrestle" by Joan of Arc? Those're my two favorite sports, and I'm looking forward to the absolute lack of coverage we can expect this year :(...

Wonderful concept and execution. Especially love that Belle & Sebastian song.

Agree with everyone: great concept and choices. How about "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel, or "Me And My Arrow" by Nilsson. (Sure, I know this last one isn't really about archery, but what the heck!)

Hi - late comment here, but Daft Punk: Harder Better Faster Stronger seem to be a good candidate?
