My brother is a big fan of the Grand Theft Auto video game series. I've played it a few times but the only video games I play for any lengthy duration are sports games like Madden.
The mix started out with tunes by bands such as Iggy & the Stooges, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin among others.
I soon felt that while the material would create a good mix, it lacked subtlety. I wanted to give to put together a soundtrack that would allow for varying textures that would quietly compliment not only the action scenes, but the storyline.
