Comment:

I've been working on this one for a while, just waited until it all came together...
By the way, working men really aren't pissed, but they SHOULD be.

Killer selections! If there's one thing you can say about troubling times - it brings out the best in people. Your anti-bush mix from months back was amazing, and this also seems so. You're right - why aren't working men pissed? It seems that a few years of things appearing to go well makes drones of us all (well, many of us). I think of people by the millions shopping at wal-mart - despite all evidence that they are the enemy of the worker. I really wonder what it will take? I hesitate to say 'god help us', though - seems that god is on the wrong side these days, so to speak.

I'm with Sean, god ain't gonna lift a finger 'cause, uhm, the devil's sittin' on his right hand. Excellent mix. Love first 6 and the Bee Gees -> Orton/Callier bits especially.

That Airplane track never ceases to stir me! And I love that Nash cut as well; it's time for him to re-release that. Love Terry Callier, too. I just started reading Ehrenreich's "Nicked and Dimed to Death" this morning.
