Comment:
I like it. Mind you, I think I have a bit of trouble with the flow of some tracks. Still, the tunes are boss and segments of the mix work quite well together. Maybe it needs some tweakin'. Thanks to new mixer John for reminding me how great that Booker T song is. Dedicated to the mighty Arch Hall, Jr.
Feedback:
Hey, cool mix and title. I think "Gladys The Groovy Mule" might be a tougher mix to put together.
Looks fab Mr Lally...boss indeed!
Excellent selections. Sometimes you just need a jolting change in a mix to make it make sense.
goovy as usual - and I adore that closing track
Hip Hug Her ranks as my fave 60s instrumental. period. Love that Knickerbocker's song, too.
Absolutely A-bomb bop!
( And hey, here it is father's day & all, let's not forget Arch Hall SENIOR without whom there would be no Arch Hall & the Archers as we know & love them today . . .)
Hey, Sean, looks like you've been a busy mixer this weekend. Great mix--and that's *my* favorite Booker T. tune, as per my "60s soul" mix from a year ago...
Am I correct in assuming one could SERIOUSLY GET DOWN AND DIRTY with this fine mix?
Looks great Sean! Now go change Astrid's diaper.
looks like loads of fun - I've just started dropping 'stray cats' tracks onto mixes - they go so well.
The more Booker T & the MGs I hear, the more I love' em ... And Tiny Grimes! Much to love here, as per usuel!
davie allan rocks the house.
looks pretty great, sean - but i feel out of the loop. where did you get that straitjackets/heat tune from ?
