Comment:
Just to let my sister know now what i have kind of advanced on to in my musical tastes. I haven't abandoned my emo/punky roots (although i take great pleasure in making fun of them), but this is what i now like most of all...
Feedback:
Well this looks rather juicy - I like just about all of it, ESPECIALLY! Basement Jaxx, Bjork, ATDI (and their world of pain), Futureheads, Velvets and TV On The Radio. I never would have pegged you for a Fiona Apple fan, but good for you. And I see you have heard that Hundred Reasons cover - I've got that CD with all the Smiths songs-done-by-punks on it, so you can have a listen sometime if you want. Unless you have it, in which case, you have already. Yes. Emo/punky roots: awww, them were t'days. I don't think those are bad roots to have though; you could have been "influenced" heavily by bubblegum pop, but then we did both see Deuce live (yes, Deuce: you had repressed that memory, hadn't you?) The point is, this is very cool. Formed your tastes well has emo, young Skywalker. I will have to do something similar to reciprocate!
