Stephin Merritt might be his generation's greatest songwriter. These melodies are so beautiful and the lyrics are funny and romantic. This is close to a 69 Love Songs Abridged mix, but i threw in some extra goodies from MF's other albums and SM's other bands that i'm particularly fond of. Overall, tracks 23 and 24 are my all-time SM favorites.
