Comment:
This summer in London has felt pretty strange.
Great potential following the news of London being awarded the opportunity to host the 2012 Olympics - in part because of the diversity and youthfulness of our population and then the fear and suspicion following the terrorist attacks ... and the aftermath.
Perhaps now as summer ends its time to reflect and enjoy some music that celebrates this wonderful and irritating and beautiful and dirty and complicated city.
The title comes from a line in the Morrisey song. Suggestions for additional tracks for a second volume very welcome.

Really cool mix. Future possibilities? Blur's "London Loves," XTC's "Towers of London" and "Swinging London" by Death By Chocolate. And of course there's Julie London...
