Comment:
"Otaku" is Japanese for "nerd", especially those focussing on anime & manga. With one exception, the songs on this mix come from the soundtracks to anime series (Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent, FLCL, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Japanese videogames. The exception is from an American cartoon that has been heavily influence by anime, and the song is performed by a Japanese duo.

From the view of how many Katamari music there is on it along with some by "The Seatbelts" and "Yoko Kanno" (btw both great band and singer :) selections of awesomeness) it is a very interesting mix of sorts. A few I have to admit never heard of. I just have to say that for the most part of the downfall is the song from Puffy AY. Don't get me wrong, they're quite the Jpop couple (I'm sorry to have heard that they were demoted to 'gaishin'[foreigner] in their social life). It's just I was never really a fan of the TT show. Other than that, I think I would love it.
