Comment:
This mix is kind of a cross section of music I have been listening to over the past week or so. I realized that there was kind of strange bouncy-ness in a lot of the songs that were a little reminiscent of the sound you hear in movies when they show a carousel. I don't know if it is the subtle presence of children's pianos and more primitive instruments played in a very merry way, or if it's the slightly psychedelic bent of a few songs, but that's the imagery I get from listening to the mix.and I like it.

Looks good, that Flotation Toy Warning album was one of the finest records of '05 and almost universally overlooked in end of year round ups. Love the Arab Strap pick here too.

I was going to say something about the Flotation Toy Warning like Barrydali. The only reason I even found out about them is through a small local record store, so they really must be underappreciated! Aberdeen City is playing SXSW, so I was curious about them. Your mixes are filled with bands I've never heard of but that sound great. Sometimes you can just tell by a name I think.
