While there are lots of songs that mention mixes, I wanted to keep to those that actually have the word "Mixtape" (or words "Mix Tape") in the song title. After about a year of searching, I've finally got enough songs collected to make a presentable and highly-listenable mix about making and giving mixes. Hurrah for small miracles!"It's a song you don't know but it shows just how much I wanna hold your hand." - The Tah Dahs Big props to my scrubblicious friend Matt for introducing me to the always amusing Avenue Q masterpiece.

So meta! I didn't know there were this many mix tape songs out there. I'm only familiar with 1, 3, 8, and 15, but I assume the rest are neat in their own ways. I'm off to iTunes to find out. Smashing mix, though. It should be used in advertisements of AOTM...if the site were more renowned.
I know very few of the artists here. However, I will say this mix is as clever as a Belgian clock tower. Well done, great concept, admirably executed.
I also don't know many of these, so am doubly impressed with this year long labor of love. Make dozens and trade!!!
