Comment:
When Paul Simon heard Jimmy Cliff's song, "Vietnam," he flew down to Kingston, Jamaica and hired the same studio, producer, singers, and rhythm section and recorded "Mother and Child Reunion." Those two songs bookend this mix. Again, another in a series of mixes featuring world music and music inspired by world music. The cover features a painting by Mozambican artist Estevao Mucavele.

Thanks. :-) It was actually inspired by a collection of mixes with the same theme made by a friend of mine. She is up to number 9 in her series. (I have at least two more planned in mine...)
