Ironically this mix does not contain the actual song "Cars That Go Boom". It does, however, contain many other songs about the automobile, with a slant towards the less-obvious and/or rare live stuff.

Comment:
Themes are all well and good but for once I just want to slap together a mix featuring a bunch of songs with no connection other than they're great songs I've been feeling recently. Some of the more obscure tracks: Sad's "100 Reasons To Be Sad" is a bootleg megamix that combines elements from 100 songs ranging from Michael Jackson to Wire; Royksopp's "Poor Leno" is hypnotic house; The Streets are British kinda-rap; yes, "Round And Round" is a Ratt cover; Lindup's "The Zodiac" is corny but fun film music that was featured in the opening to "The Full Monty".You must be logged in to do this.
