(31) Hank Thompson -- Bartender's PolkaI have no idea how to do the polks, & it's not in my blood, so I might not be the best person to undertake this theme -- but no one else I know is likely to do it, either, so sometimes when you want soemthing done wrong, you just have to do it yourself.
Silly, jolly, goodtime music, that's what polka means to me. That, and accordions -- if you're allergic to accordions you shouldn't even be reading this, let alone listening to it. But for those who can take it, it's a lot of fun.

Openin' with a killer! I have a little too much polka in my background, sadly. Yes, I'm technically a Lally -- however, I'm 1/4 Siutak! Played a few polkas at weddings, too. Man, oh man.... y'know, it's pretty fun music! So I ask you - Who stole the keeshka?!?!?!

Not a polka guy, personally, but I'm sure that this is entertaining.
It's a dirty job, joey, but somebody had to do it. This would go over well around here during Wurstfest, where for 10 days in November the entire region pigs out on beer and sausage (and turkey legs and beer and funnel cakes and tacos and more beer) and sleepy New Braunfels becomes the polka capital of Texas!! Why, Myron Floren (Lawrence Welk's accordion player) even makes an annual visit, health permitting. Too much fun!
