Comment:

80 minutes of prime Buffalo Springfield, going mercifully light on the massively overrated Stephen Stills (who is, in a lot of ways that mostly involve his personality, one of my least favorite figures in rock history). Neil, Richie and Bruce Palmer, however, were talented enough to not only make this an enjoyable disc but to also earn this band its place in the rock 'n' roll legends pantheon

a good one again, Rob. I especially like the rarities you have included. I'll be wanting this. A nice companion to the excellent 4-CD Neil Young mix I got from you last week.

Nice job Rob on one of my favorite bands ever. In some ways I agree with you about Stills, but he sure was a nice fit with this too short-lived band. They all complimented each other so well. Moreso than CSN&Y. Besides, I think For What It's Worth may be the quintessential 60s song.

Pretty awesome. Is the box set pretty solid? Actually, are all of these tunes found there?

Mmmm...Buffalo Springfield. I definitely agree that although they were short-lived, their output blows away the CSN&Y stuff. Really nice mix, Rob!

Seeing as I have little patience for CSN&Y (basically because Stills more or less dominated that band), I'd agree with those statements, for sure. heh

i can't really agree w/the comments about stills. anyone who could write and sing "bluebird" is groovy in my book.
